They're the same thing.

Democrats and Republicans are literally the same. They don't care about any of us.

I am pretty sure I’m not the only American who has realized this, and then in research I have done, I learned that the founding fathers of America had those amongst them who hated the idea of factions and political parties. Why? Because those two things end up serving their own interests and not those of the people they represent.

Voting is ridiculous in the United States. When I was a kid, I remember learning about both political parties, then realizing the fact that as an adult, I’d have to pick a side. But now, in 2025, as an adult, I know that both parties are the different sides of the same shitty coin. They only exist to line their own pockets at our expense.

Now, some politicians actually care about the people, but there are very few of them. Most of them, however, do not give a rat’s ass about any of us. They’re busy chasing money and keeping those files hidden. They will appear to support LGBTQIA people, then flip the script and say they don’t.

Democrats have been scooting away from supporting trans people. They’re letting us get kicked under the bus because they’re afraid to stand up for a small group of the population that Republicans, or should I say, the Group of Pedophiles, are painting as terrorists just for wanting to exist? I am not a terrorist because I want to exist in peace. I am not anti-American for wanting to live my life.

It is clear that both parties only care about money. And that’s why we need to say no to both of them. How about America switches to a system in which parties don’t exist, where we actually vote for people who represent us, and a system in which corporations and billionaires have no say in who gets elected? If your income is that high, you don’t get the right to influence the government. It should be a trade-off for being that wealthy. Billionaires should be paying 45% of their income in taxes, or even higher. Why? They won’t be able to spend all that money in their lifetime. They could be using it to help people out of poverty. No human should have to struggle to survive.

If billionaires shared their income with everyone, it would make life much easier for so many Americans. But people want to whine and say, “You need to work for your money!” Billionaires did not work for their excessive income. People below them did. Jeff Bezos didn’t build Amazon; the employees in the warehouses did. Amazon can’t function without them, but now they’re adding robots to replace human workers.

And don’t get me started on AI. But back to the main topic here, we don’t need political parties anymore. They have done enough damage. And since nobody is really pushing for the fascist traitor to be removed, along with all the people who are loyal to him, they’re all committing treason. It’s really sad. Allowing treason to happen without protesting it is the same as taking part in it. We would not be dealing with this if he would have been denied based on the fact that he caused an insurrection. January 6 is the reason why he should not have been allowed to take the office in the first place.

The damage Donald Trump is doing to America’s reputation across the globe is terrible. It will take a lot of work to undo the bullshit he has caused, and I really do hope that the rest the world knows a lot of us did not want this man back in office. I have hope for the American people simply because everyone is starting to see him and the GOP for who they really are.

They want to say that trans people are harmful to children, but when you research online you find pages and pages of church going white cisgender men being involved in sexual abuse and other harm toward children. We are not the problem. My existence as a trans person is not the issue. Children being trans isn’t an issue either. The fact that fascists keep trying to use us as a diversion from their crimes against everyone is the issue. And I am glad more people are seeing through their bullshit.

I think in the long run, America will come out of this with a new world view and polices will be created to prevent this mess from ever happening again. Because every country has had its time to learn to fix its issues for the better. And that’s happening right now for the United States of America.

Eliminating parties is our best bet. Because special interests get wrapped up in those. And special interests never focus on the people of a nation.
